I've been a wilderness hiker and backpacker since I was a teenager growing up in Libby, Montana. The city limits of the small town lie nearly adjacent to the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, a 98,000-acre wilderness area, one of 54 original wilderness areas created by the 1964 Wilderness Act.
Letz goes hiking! is a collection of memoirs from hiking and backpacking trips I've taken over the years. It's still very incomplete and not necessarily chronological. It's my online sandbox, where I can experiment with overlapping hobbies and interests: backpacking, photography, writing, web design, css, html, etc., for play and practice. It has developed over a series of starts and stops, and the most recent installment is the most complete, so there's a lot of backfilling left to do. Look for the list of reports to grow and make more sense over time.
